Heartbender is a Forge mod for 1.19.2 that adds world generation content, mobs, bosses, loot bags and a set of cheat-style commands and status effects.

ForgeClient and serverAll rights reserved1.19.2

What it does

Heartbender adds many different items, mobs, structures and bosses to a 1.19.2 world, changing how a survival run plays out. Loot bags drop from mobs with a set chance and hold items from a pool weighted by rarity. A loot bag merger block combines four bags of one rarity into a bag of the next rarity up. The mod also includes dummies for testing weapons and armor, and a set of potion effects such as Fatal Poison, Recall, Nausea, Doom and Bleed. Geckolib is required and must be installed alongside Heartbender.

Several commands depend on the cheats being enabled and on the cheat gamerule being set. These include a heal command that restores health and hunger, an ignite command that sets a player on fire, a dimension command that sends a player to dimensions 0 through 3, and a duplicate command that copies the item held in hand. Held items lose durability when damaged, and the mod reports how much damage an item has taken and how much is left. The mod is published for Forge only, in one release line for 1.19.2, and it runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. The code is not open source; the mod is released under All rights reserved.

Key features

  1. Loot bags and merger

Mobs can drop loot bags with a set chance, and a merger block combines four bags of one rarity into the next.

  2. Testing dummies

Four dummies, including Undead and Regular variants, let players test weapons, with a smite enchantment interaction on the Undead dummies.

  3. Custom potion effects

Effects such as Fatal Poison, Recall, Nausea, Doom and Bleed change health, movement and timers on the entities they affect.

  4. Command set

Commands for healing, igniting, dimension travel and duplicating held items work only when cheats are enabled.
