BetterHappyGhast changes how players steer the Happy Ghast, a flying mount, with keyboard controls for moving forward, back, left, right, up and down.
What it does
The mod adds two operation modes for the Happy Ghast. The optimized operation mode gives a more convenient way to control the mount, and the optimized control mode refines how the ghast responds to input. Both modes are built on Fabric and cover the 1.21.6 – 1.21.11 range.
Movement is mapped to the keyboard: W moves the ghast forward, S moves it back, A shifts it left and D shifts it right. Space raises the ghast and Ctrl lowers it. The mod runs on client and server, so both sides need it, and it is published for Fabric only, with snapshot builds available alongside the release files.
