Hammerspace

by itsmenotjames

Hammerspace lets players craft controllers that each carry a pocket dimension of a chosen size, and the controllers can be upgraded through several tiers.

ForgeNeoForgeClient and serverMIT LicenseOpen source1.19.2 – 1.20.1

What it does

Crafting a controller creates an area of pocket dimension bounded by unbreakable hammerstone. Opening a controller from the hand menu, which appears on right-click, shows a set of fields for the identifier and the length, width and height of the space. The identifier accepts lowercase letters, digits, colons, slashes, underscores and hyphens, and it is split into a namespace and a name. Once the values are set, the check mark locks them in.

Two controllers may share the same identifier while differing in size, and the size is taken from the controller that was used first. Shift right-click increases the size, but the dimensions cannot be reduced. The identifier can be changed only before the controller is created. Upgraded crafting and smithing table controllers keep their data when they are upgraded, and the added size remains. Multiple tiers need to be upgraded in order, with the last tier completing the chain.

Hammerspace requires the Hammerspace dependency free content mod Minecraft, is published for Forge and NeoForge on 1.19.2 and 1.20.1, and is open source under the MIT License. The server and every player need the mod installed.

What the author says

In Hammerspace, you can craft items known as controllers. By right-clicking with these controllers in your hand, a menu opens up. In this menu, you can type in an id (a-z:/- are the allowed characters). If this id contains two pieces of text separated by a ":", the dimension will have that as its namespace, instead…
