GrowableOres
by skniro
Ore canes let players grow the ores that GrowableOres adds, planted like sugar cane and harvested in a fraction of the time that mining takes.
What it does
GrowableOres adds specialized sugar cane crops whose stalks produce ore instead of sugar. Ore canes exist for nearly every Minecraft ore, from coal to diamond, so a farm can supply the ores a player would otherwise spend long hours mining for. The crops are planted and harvested the same way as ordinary cane.
Configuration covers the height of an ore cane, and a setting allows bone meal to speed up their growth. Version 3.0.0 and later also let custom growing blocks and fluids be added through a tag, and ore canes can be planted beside a lava lake. Recipes for the ore canes and their outputs can be checked in a recipe viewer. The mod is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, with Fabric files for 26.3 and Forge files for 26.2. Client and server both need it, and the source is open source under the MIT License.

Use cases
Ore farming on a server
Server owners can build ore farms so players get ores on demand without long mining trips.
Automated ore supply
Ore canes harvested by machines or hoppers can feed a production line that uses ores as input.
Who it’s for: Players who want a steady supply of ores without mining for them, and server owners who run shared farms for their community.

What the author says
GrowableOres Mod is a modification that contains a good amount of content to help to farm ores. GrowableOres Mod basically implements specialized sugar cane crops that, instead of growing traditional sugar cane, actually grow the ores that you’d usually have to mine by going through a great deal of effort.
