good_worker is a Forge utility mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 that changes how mobs handle the equipment they wear and carry.

What it does

Mobs no longer drop their armor and weapons when they die, which keeps gear out of the loot pool. Several parts of this behavior can be switched on or off in the config. The mod was built for the Infinite Template modpack, and it grew out of an original workbench concept with limited options. Installation runs on client and server, so both sides need it. The project is published for Forge only, in 1.20.1, and is not open source.

  1. Equipment stays on mobs

    Mobs keep the armor and weapons they are wearing or holding when they die, so nothing drops from them.

  2. Fluid amount settings

    Basin capacity for fluids can be adjusted, and the fluid amount types match those used by the Create mod's Basin.

    Each behavior can be enabled or disabled in the config, so server owners choose which effects apply.
