Giant Tree
Giant Tree changes how trees grow when several saplings are planted together in a square, so four saplings can grow a much larger tree than a single sapling.
What it does
When four saplings are placed together, they grow into one larger tree instead of separate trees of normal size. The mod allows more saplings planted together to produce bigger trees, and the maximum number of merged saplings is 10000 by default, adjustable in the configuration. Trees grown this way produce logs quickly, which suits treehouse builds, but large trees also bring fire and lightning risks that players should plan for.
Giant Tree runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. Installation is for Fabric and NeoForge, with builds covering 1.20.1 – 26.3. The mod is released under the MIT License and is not open source. Its tree growth is handled through instant generation rather than tasks spread across multiple ticks, which is why very large trees do not cause the lag players might expect.

What the author says
In Minecraft, you can plant 4 saplings together to grow a larger tree. And this mod allows you to plant more saplings together to grow bigger trees. The more saplings there are, the larger the trees planted. You can quickly produce logs or make treehouses, but be careful of lightning and fire sources.
