The mod lets a server owner tune Create contraption building through configuration options, so making contraptions becomes more complex mechanically. A blacklist can prevent chosen blocks from working inside contraption actors, and Mechanical Saws can be set to break a whole tree in one action.

Drill and Saw actors are reworked so each works like a drill with its own pickaxe, shovel, axe and hoe specialties. Other options change the recipe catalyst shown in recipe viewers for Fan Processing, swap water, lava, fire and soul fire for different blocks, and make unfiltered Mechanical Saws prefer crafting stripped logs, planks or stairs instead of cycling through possible recipes. Custom Mysterious Conversion recipes can also be shown in recipe viewers.

Get Creative also ports automatic train disassembly from Steam 'n' Rails, triggered by wrenching a train with a Deployer, and disables the Station block when it is installed alongside. Lecterns can be interacted with by a contraption and linked controllers can be placed and picked up again. The mod is client and server, so the server and every player need it. It is released under the MIT License and is open source, with its source code and issue tracker public.
