Botania: Window Box
by Seraphaestus
Botania: Window Box is a Forge addon for Botania that adds new magical flowers, a few extra HUD overlays and some trinket and world tweaks.
What it does
Botania: Window Box attaches small box flowers to the side of a house, extending the botanical theme of Botania with decorative and functional plants. Its flowers include Oxidaisel, Candysnuft, Snapdresson, Groundberry portal trees and Topsy Tulip bouquets, each with its own role in the theme.
The addon also covers gaps the author found while playing: a HUD shows the mana of a targeted pool and the overall fullness of spark-connected pools, and a wand HUD can display the same data. Trinkets are remembered so a loadout can be re-equipped from the inventory with one click. Sand and gravel near suspicious blocks turn into their suspicious forms with matching loot, and nearby copper blocks oxidize faster.
Botania: Window Box requires Botania and is published for Forge only, with files for 1.20.1 – 1.20.6. The latest file is 1.20.1-1.2 for 1.20.6, released on 2026-01-09. Clients and servers both need the mod, since it runs on client and server. The code is under the MIT License, and the source code and issue tracker are public.
