Create: Gears n' Kinetics adds a set of cogwheel variants to the Create mod, including ring gears, tiny cogs, shaftless cogs, hollow cogs and worm gears.

What it does

Each variant changes how a cogwheel meshes or connects, so builders can route rotation through layouts that standard gears do not allow. The mod requires Create, and both the server and every player need it, since the cogwheel blocks must match on both sides. Files are published for NeoForge only, for 1.21 and 1.21.1, with 1.0m for 1.21.1 as the latest file, and the code is not open source under All rights reserved.

Key features

  1. Ring gears

    Ring gears work with both large and small cogs, allowing a gear to drive others from its outer edge.

  2. Hollow and shaftless cogs

    Hollow cogs can carry their own shaft and turn independently, while shaftless cogs sit without one.

  3. Chainable cogwheels and cranks

    Chainable cogwheels link across different axes, and cog cranks are a cogwheel version of the hand crank.
