G1axSpearOptimizer adds a charge bar, a damage preview and a screen shake effect to spear combat on Fabric for 1.21.11.
What it does
A green dynamic HUD bar shows how much charge a spear has built up. The bar updates as the player holds the attack, so the charge level can be read without opening any menu. A real-time damage preview estimates the hit based on the player's movement velocity at the moment of the strike.
When a spear reaches its maximum overcharge state, the screen shakes to signal it. The author describes the mod as aimed at smoother and more responsive spear combat, and the features are client-side visuals only. The mod is released under the MIT License and is open source, with public links for source code, an issue tracker and a wiki.
Only the client needs the mod, and servers run vanilla without it. Installation requires Fabric Loader and Fabric API. Files are published for Fabric only, with 1.0.0 for 1.21.11 as the single release version, dated 2026-01-23.
