Framed Hopper
by Kaworru
Framed Hopper gives the vanilla hopper a wooden frame, so storage builds in wood keep a matching look while the item transfer works as before.
What it does
The Forge mod changes the appearance of the hopper block. Its wooden frame suits builds made with wooden architecture, and the hopper keeps its normal function of moving items between containers. Players craft the framed version and place it like the standard block, so no new storage logic is introduced.
The mod is meant for storage setups, decoration projects and base layouts where plain iron hoppers look out of place. It is published for Forge only, with files for 1.18.1 – 1.20.2 across ten release versions, and the latest file, 1.1.0, targets 1.20.2. Client and server both need the mod, and the source code is public under the MIT License, so the mod is open source. It works alongside Storage Drawers in storage systems, and no other dependency is required.
Key features
Wooden-framed hopper
A hopper variant with a wooden frame that blends with wooden structures and cabins.
Standard item transfer
The framed hopper moves items between containers in the same way as the vanilla hopper.
Crafted storage block
The framed hopper is made in a crafting recipe, so players get it with the same materials used for other storage blocks.
Fits wooden builds
The wooden construction keeps the hopper consistent with other wood-themed decoration in a base.

Use cases
Wooden storage rooms
Players who build storage rooms from wood can keep the hopper lines in the same material as the walls and floors.
Pairing with Storage Drawers
In a system built around Storage Drawers, the framed hopper can feed drawers while keeping the layout tidy.
Who it’s for: Builders who use wood-themed architecture and players who run storage networks with hoppers and drawers on Forge. Servers add the mod to keep the framed look consistent for every player.
