What it does

Foxbox adds a fox box block that foxes occasionally pathfind toward and attempt to sit in. Once a box is occupied, it cannot take another fox until the first one leaves. The box is crafted from five paper in a boat shape, and a separate tbh block is crafted from wool and a button in an upside-down U shape in the top left corner of the crafting grid. Foxes also sit on the tbh block when it is placed, so the two blocks work together.

The mod adds fox plushies as decorative items and uses a held-use interaction on the tbh block, which the author describes as cuddling. The block mechanics are based on an earlier design, used with permission. Foxbox is published for Quilt only, for Minecraft 1.20 and 1.20.1, and needs Quilted Fabric API (QFAPI) and Quilt Standard Libraries (QSL). The code is open source under the Mozilla Public License 2.0, and the mod runs on client and server.
