Fog Looks Good Now changes how fog starts and thickens in the world, giving the view a stronger sense of depth as the player moves.

What it does

Fog begins closer to the player, and the change keeps the same view distance, so the scene reads with more atmosphere while the world loads at its usual range. Cave fog can be set separately, with densities configured per biome. The mod is Forge only, for 1.18.2 and 1.19.2, and runs on the client alone; a server does not need it. It is released under the CC0 1.0 Universal license and is open source.
