With FNAF VIRUS, night brings animatronics that hunt the player through a Minecraft survival world, inspired by the FNAF 1 remake.
What it does
Once night falls, the mod turns the world into a horror experience built around animatronics that start hunting the player. Every mob moves by its own rules, makes its own noises and shows a distinct death screen. A special five-day mechanic structures progress through the nights, and the interface is modified to match the atmosphere of the classic FNAF games.
The mod needs Geckolib to run. It is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, with files for 1.20.1, 1.21.1 and 26.2. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. The mod is released under a custom license and is not open source. Co-op support lets several players face the nights together on a server.

Hunting animatronics
Animatronics leave their posts after dark and chase the player, using tactics that differ from mob to mob.
Unique death screens
Each animatronic shows its own death screen, so the cause of a loss is visible on the screen.
Pure damage
Certain attacks deal pure damage that ignores armor, so defensive gear does not protect against them.
Five-day progression
A special five-day mechanic paces the nights and sets the order of threats the player faces.
Detailed textures and sounds
Textures and sounds are drawn from the FNAF-style games, and 3D models are planned for a later update.
