Flying Unicorns adds winged unicorns that spawn in rare herds, can be tamed, saddled and ridden across land and through the sky.
What it does
Winged unicorns appear in the wild in herds that contain both adults and foals, in 32 color variants. Once tamed, a unicorn can be equipped with a saddle and steered with the default controls, both over the ground and in flight. Flight uses stamina, which recovers while the rider rests on the ground.
A special summoning horn is crafted from the horn of an adult unicorn, harvested with shears. Each horn is tied to the animal it came from and regrows slowly after harvest. Calling a bonded unicorn with the horn brings it to the player from nearby land, or from a long distance and even from another dimension. The mod requires Fabric API and Geckolib, and runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. Files are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across 15 release versions, under All rights reserved. The code is not open source.
An optional command lets a player find the closest wild herd and teleport to it, which can suit servers where the animals are otherwise hard to find.

Aedans Unicorns is a Fabric-only mod for 1.21.1, under the MIT License, and it is open source. Call Your Horse is open source under the MIT License and published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and the server alone can run it while players may leave it out.
