FlashPlus

by RedLifedev

With FlashPlus installed alongside Flashback, a client can export camera paths, entity tracks, panoramas and world data from a recording.

What it does

FlashPlus is a Fabric utility that extends the Flashback replay mod. Its exporters write entity tracking data, camera paths with field-of-view keyframes, and panorama HDRIs from a recording. World exporting is included as well, which lets a replay's world be saved for use in other tools.

The mod is built to feed post-production work, and its author notes an addon route for VFX processing that other developers can build on. A showcase reel made with FlashPlus is cited as an example of its output. Only the Flashback replay mod is required; the mod runs on the client alone and needs nothing on a server. Files are published for Fabric, with the latest build, 1.2.0, targeting 26.1.2 and dated 2026-05-02. Builds exist for 1.21.11, 26.1, 26.1.1 and 26.1.2, and the code is covered by All rights reserved, so the project is not open source.

Key features

  1. Entity tracking

Records the movement of entities in a Flashback replay so their paths can be used outside the game.

  2. Camera path export

Exports the camera path together with field-of-view keyframes for editing in other software.

  3. Panorama HDRI export

Writes panoramic captures from a replay as HDRI images.

  4. World exporting

Saves the world of a recording so the scene can be reused in external pipelines.
