Fcitx5 Enhancer
by XIAYM-gh
Fcitx5 Enhancer lets players type through the Fcitx5 input method in Minecraft without losing hotkeys to the game, and it is client-side only.
What it does
When an input method is active, keys such as Tab and Enter can fire both an input method action and a game hotkey at once, which interrupts typing. The mod adds an IMBlocker that stops the game from handling those keys while composition is active, and it offers a configurable visual element selector to control which parts are blocked. It also adds input method support for native Wayland environments.
Installation needs Fabric Loader and Cloth Config API, which the mod requires. Mod Menu is optional and only needed to open the configuration screen from the mod list. The mod relies on native libraries for its functions; built-in libraries are compiled for Linux x86-64 with glibc 2.31 on Debian 11, and other architectures such as aarch64 must compile the library themselves by following the GitHub instructions. Files are published for Fabric only, for 1.20 and 1.20.1 – 1.21.11 and the 26.x builds, with 0.2.14 for 26.3 as the latest file. Snapshot builds are also published. The mod is open source under the MIT License and is not available for NeoForge.
Key features
IMBlocker
Blocks game hotkeys such as Tab and Enter while an input method is composing text, so keystrokes reach only the input method.
Configurable blocking
A visual element selector lets players choose which interface elements the blocker applies to.
Wayland input support
Adds input method support for native Wayland sessions, where Fcitx5 is commonly used on Linux.
Native libraries
Functions run through bundled native libraries, with instructions for compiling them on unsupported architectures.

What the author says
This is a mod made for Minecraft, which provides compatibility with Fcitx5, and makes your life easier. When using IME in Minecraft, pressing a key that is also a game hotkey (e.g. Tab, Enter) causes the key event to be handled by both the input method and the game.
