Fast Developing Bonus Chest changes the starting bonus chest, giving new worlds a richer set of basic items to begin with.

What it does

The bonus chest that appears at the start of a world is replaced with a fuller set of basic materials such as logs, planks, cobblestone and iron ingots. The wood type in the chest follows the biome where the world begins, and in some inhospitable biomes players receive extra items. Opening the chest also grants 65 experience points and advances progress toward advancements.
