FamiliarsLib is a NeoForge library for building familiar mods, supplying the base systems that Alshanex Familiars uses.
What it does
Familiar mods built on FamiliarsLib can add their own familiars, familiar beds and familiar storage blocks, along with school-specific spells and sounds. The library provides the shared framework so a mod author does not need to write those systems from scratch. Client and server both need the library, since the familiar systems run on both sides. The current NeoForge build, 1.7.1, targets 1.21.1 and was published on 2026-04-17, with the last update on 2026-08-31. The code is open source under the MIT License.
