Fabricated Legacy Forge is a library that lets Forge mods and ModLoader mods run on Legacy Fabric and Ornithe across the 1.3.2 – 1.4.7 range.

What it does

The library loads Forge mods and ModLoader mods through Fabric Loader on the legacy versions, where those mods would otherwise not start. Credit for the original ModLoader goes to Risugami, and the Forge support traces its origins to work by Martin Cameron and Paul Lamb.

Installing it requires Mod Remapping API, which must sit alongside it on the same loader. Optional companions in the catalog include CodeChicken Core, Legacy Fabric API, Mod Menu Ornithe, Not Enough Items, Ornithe Standard Libraries and legacy-lwjgl3, each adding support for a different part of the older ecosystem.

Builds are published for nine release versions and snapshot builds appear alongside them. Either side can run it, and neither needs it. The source code is open and released under the Open Software License 3.0.
