EzWastelands
by ezterry
EzWastelands generates mostly flat, barren wasteland terrain in the overworld, and it is meant for building small maps in the style of resource-scarce survival worlds.
What it does
Map makers who build small packs, including HQM packs, can select the Wastelands world type when starting a creative world to create the starter structures. The terrain is almost entirely flat and mostly barren, with little natural value to find, so a world can be set up around scarce resources. Some temple access can be kept, and the overworld can be left intentionally bleak for players who must survive in it.
The mod also offers a configuration button on the world type screen, where settings can be adjusted and shared through a presets option. Client and server both run it, so the server and every player need EzWastelands installed. It is released under the BSD 2-Clause License and is open source, with the source code public, and files cover 1.12, 1.12.1 and 1.12.2, with 1.12-1.3.1 for 1.12.2 as the latest file.
