Experience Shards is a storage mod for players who want to keep experience points in a throwable item rather than in the bottle or the player's level bar.

What it does

Charging starts when an echo shard drops onto a top enchanting table, which lets the shard absorb nearby experience orbs and hold them as points. The shard pulls experience from the nearest player at 20 points per second and can carry up to 800 points, which other players can add to by putting it into a chest. Experience Shards requires a server and runs there, while clients may leave it out. It is published for Fabric, Forge and Quilt across 6 release versions, 1.19 – 1.20, under All rights reserved, so the code is not open source.
