XP Bank

by Diesse

XP Bank lets players pour experience points into glass bottles at an enchanting table, then pour them back out later.

FabricForgeNeoForgeQuiltServer required, client optionalCC0 1.0 Universal1.21 – 1.21.3

What it does

Players store experience points by holding glass bottles while using an enchanting table. Each bottle filled costs one experience level, and the stored points can be kept and used later, regaining them like regular experience. Right-clicking a filled bottle returns the points to the player. A limit set in the data pack caps how much experience can be stored and requires at least one level per bottle, so experience is not lost to abuse.

The mod runs on the server, and players may add it on the client for extra features. Installing it on the server alone is enough for the core system to work. XP Bank is a data pack mod, so it is also available for data pack servers, and it covers Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt for game versions 1.21 – 1.21.3. The license is CC0 1.0 Universal, and the project is not open source.

Key features

  1. Experience bottles

Glass bottles hold stored experience points taken from the player's levels at an enchanting table.

  2. Experience conversion

Each bottle filled removes one experience level, and the stored value can be withdrawn at any time.

  3. Right-click withdrawal

A right-click on a filled bottle gives the stored experience back to the player.

  4. Storage limits

A data pack setting caps the total stored experience and sets a minimum of one level per bottle.

Use cases

Who it’s for: Players who want to hold experience across sessions and server owners who want to set limits on how much can be banked.
