Every Mob's a Creeper
Every Mob's a Creeper is a Forge gameplay mod for 1.20.1 that makes most hostile entities chase players and explode near them.
What it does
Entities that carry the mod's behavior seek out a nearby player and detonate within a short distance, much as a Creeper does. Chasing ends in an explosion, and entities attack only through explosions. Players who spent time on a build may watch it destroyed after a single encounter, which is the intent of the challenge.
The mod is built around a set of gamerules, so a world can be tuned from mild to severe. One rule controls how many mobs act like Creepers, and it is on by default. Another decides whether entities still drop loot when they explode, and it is off by default because Creepers drop nothing when they explode. A further rule lets Creepers spawn under the usual conditions for other mobs, in groups, underwater or during the day. These rules are off by default because the result is intense, and the author plans to add more.
Every Mob's a Creeper is client and server, so the server and every player need the mod. It is published for Forge only, with version 1.0.1 for 1.20.1 as the sole file. The code is under the MIT License, and the mod is not open source.

Use cases
Challenge runs with friends
Groups of players can set a harsher world and see how long a build survives the change.
Who it’s for: Players who want a hard, chaotic survival challenge on Forge 1.20.1, and server owners who want to run such a world for a group.
How it compares
No Creepers is server required with client optional and is licensed as All rights reserved, so players can join without installing it. Creeper Insta BOOM works on either side, and neither side needs it. Both are for Forge 1.20.1 only, like Every Mob's a Creeper. Old Creeper targets 1.16.5 – 1.20.1 and runs on client and server, so its version range is wider.
