Epic The Mod is a Forge and NeoForge addition based on the Epic series, with a musical theme by Jorge Rivera-Herrans, mobs, boss fights and a dark dimension to explore.
What it does
The mod adds a loyal companion that drops a signature headband when defeated, granting the Open Arms potion effect, and a dangerous fruit called Lotus Fruit that spawns more Lotus creatures and leaves the eater hungry. Wearing the headband greatly reduces damage taken from both mobs, which encourages peaceful encounters.
Players can summon a dramatic thunderstorm to start a fight with Poseidon, and a tool is used to defeat him. A dark dimension holds lost items that must be collected, with a Prophet to consult. The author describes boss fights against Zeus, Scylla and Charybdis as further additions, and also a witch who turns enemies into pigs, with her defeat opening the path to the Underworld. Some features appear only in the beta version, with more planned for later updates.
The server and every player need the mod installed. Files are published for Forge and NeoForge, for game versions 1.20.1 and 1.21.1. Builds are listed with their own dates and channels, and the code is not open source, so the mod is released under All rights reserved.

A summoned thunderstorm starts a boss fight against Poseidon, defeated with a tool the mod provides.

Tamable Lotus creatures are bred with glowing Lotus Fruit, which also hypnotizes whoever eats it.
