Epic Structures: Villages
by ATi
Epic Structures: Villages replaces the vanilla village generator with sprawling medieval cities and towns, so a world gets larger settlements in place of standard villages.
What it does
Villages generated by the mod are built from medieval architecture and cover far more ground than the vanilla versions they replace. The server generates them, and the mod is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, with files for game versions 1.19 – 26.3 across 29 release versions.
The server must run it, while players may leave it out. The author lists compatibility with other generation mods, structure additions and village overhauls. The author lists five of five vanilla villages as complete and recommends several performance mods for players who want to reduce lag. The project is All rights reserved and is not open source.
Key features
Medieval city layouts
Villages are replaced by larger medieval cities and towns with varied building layouts.
Vanilla village coverage
The author reports that all five vanilla village types have been completed in the new style.
Broad structure compatibility
The author lists compatibility with almost all generation mods, so other structure packs can sit alongside its settlements.

Who it’s for: Server owners and players who want bigger, medieval-style villages in place of the vanilla ones, and who are willing to pair the mod with the performance mods the author recommends.
How it compares
Epic Structures: Dungeons is from the same series and also is needed on the server, with the client optional without being required on the client, with All rights reserved and files for 1.19 – 26.3, but it generates dungeons rather than villages. Towns and Towers is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial Share Alike 4.0 and covers 1.18.2 – 26.3. kogtyv-Towny and Village is open source under the MIT License and covers 1.19 – 26.2.
