Entity Render Disabler
With Entity Render Disabler installed, players can hide the models of chosen mobs and entities to lighten the load on the client.
What it does
Entity Render Disabler lets a player choose which entities stop being drawn on screen. Its settings screen lists entities grouped by the mod that adds them, so a long list of mobs can be browsed by source. A single global toggle turns every custom render rule on or off at once, which makes it quick to compare the game with and without the filter.
The mod targets frame rate drops caused by a crowded world, such as a farm full of animals or a base swarmed by spawned creatures. The settings are built with YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL), which must be installed alongside it. The mod runs on the client only, so a server does not need it, and it is published for Fabric and NeoForge across 13 release versions. The code is not open source; the mod is released under All rights reserved.
Key features
Per-entity render toggles
Each entity can be set to show or hide, so rendering is turned off only for the mobs a player chooses.
Entities grouped by source mod
Entities are sorted into categories by the mod that adds them, which keeps the selection list navigable when many mods are installed.
Global toggle key
A single keystroke disables or re-enables all entity render filtering at once, for quick comparison.
Settings menu through YACL
The configuration screen uses YetAnotherConfigLib for its layout, so options appear in one consistent menu.

Use cases
Large mob farms
Hiding the models of animals or farm mobs in a dense area can reduce the drawing work while the farm keeps running.
Low-end machines
Players on weaker hardware can hide entities they do not need to see, trading some visuals for a steadier frame rate.
Who it’s for: Players who run Minecraft on the client and want to reduce the number of entities drawn on screen, especially on systems with a low frame rate.
How it compares
FeaMC is client-side only, released under the MIT License, and is an optimization mod for Fabric and NeoForge covering 1.21.2 – 1.21.11. No Render is client-side only as well, covers 1.18.2 – 1.21.1 on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, and is under All rights reserved. Entity Render Disabler differs by letting players pick individual entities to hide, while those mods work on broader render rules; its latest Fabric file is for 1.21.11.
