Encaged turns the title screen into a server join, and it removes the quit, close and disconnect buttons from the game.

What it does

Encaged is a Fabric minigame mod that replaces the title screen with an automatic join to a configured server, by default encaged.skye.host. While it is active, the quit game button, the disconnect button and the window close action are disabled, so a player cannot leave the game through the usual controls. The mod is client-side only, so only the player needs it and servers run without it. It is published for Fabric and requires Cloth Config API and Fabric API.

The config menu can change each of these behaviors, including the server address, so the title screen no longer forces a join. Encaged covers 1.20.6 – 1.21 and is released under CC0 1.0 Universal, which places the code in the public domain. Its source code is public, and the latest file, special2.0-1.21, was published on 2024-07-23 for 1.21.
