Elytras Begone
by GamerMC
Elytras Begone lets server owners remove, replace or disable elytras through a data pack, with no code changes needed.
What it does
Players on a server running Elytras Begone cannot use elytra wings as they normally would. The mod swaps elytras out of the game's loot and spawn points, such as end ships, for another item of the server owner's choice. Every setting is controlled through functions in the data pack, so a server can be tuned without editing Java code. Elytras Begone is server required and client optional, and it is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt for 1.21.5, under the MIT License. The mod is not open source.
Key features
Data pack configuration
Removal and replacement rules are written as data pack entries, so the change can be adjusted per world.
Elytra replacement
Elytras that would generate at end ships can be swapped for another item instead.
Disabling elytras
Elytras can be turned off entirely, so players cannot equip or use them.
