With Elytra Lunge installed on a server, the lunge enchantment works while the player is gliding with an elytra.

What it does

The mod is a data pack, so it needs no Java code. It restores the lunge enchantment's effect for elytra gliding, which Mojang had blocked through a lunge.json file. A config option is required before the change takes effect, and the server posts a reload message to game chat when the data pack loads successfully. Only the server needs the data pack; players join without installing it.

Elytra Lunge is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and as a data pack, with files for 1.21.11 and 26.1 – 26.3. It is released under the MIT License and is not open source.
