What it does

Eggstracting is a weapon enchantment with three levels. Each level raises the chance that a mob killed with the enchanted weapon drops its spawn egg. The drop chances are small and rise with each level, so higher levels make eggs more likely to appear.

The enchantment lets survival players collect spawn eggs that would otherwise need creative mode or commands. The mod also adds support for Optifine's CIT format to the enchantment descriptions. Installation covers the server and each player's game. It is published for Fabric only, across five release versions 1.19.2 – 1.20.1, with 1.3.0 for 1.20.1 as the latest file. The code is released under the CC0 1.0 Universal license, which is open source, and the source code is public.
