Editable World Generation
Editable World Generation lets a player open a custom world and change the rules that shape its terrain, biomes, caves and ores before the world is created.
What it does
Choosing the Custom world type and clicking Edit rules opens an editor. In it, a player changes the generation rules for the overworld, nether and end, then clicks Generate Preview to see a random seed built from those rules. Values update live in chunks as settings are chosen, so a change shows up without restarting the editor.
The mod covers most of Minecraft's world generation: terrain, caves, biomes, vegetation, ores, structures, features, and the removal or replacement of specific blocks during spawning. Since version 2.0.0 the settings apply to all three dimensions. The mod is client and server, so a multiplayer server and every player need the same copy installed. It is published for Fabric only, with files for 26.3 and earlier, and the latest Fabric file, mc26.3_v4.3.0, is dated 2026-09-28. It is released under All rights reserved and is not open source.
