EconomyRPG
by ts4
EconomyRPG turns the Minecraft economy into an RPG-style system with jobs, shops, an auction house and PvP rewards, all driven by each player's balance.
What it does
Players earn money by playing normally through jobs, and a player who starts out receives a balance of 100. A real-time balance display in the sidebar shows the current amount, and a main GUI opened from the start menu gives access to viewing a balance, checking a job, changing jobs, selling items instantly and seeing the richest players.
The shop is organized into categories such as weapons, tools, armor, food and blocks, and buying can be done for one item or for a stack of 64 at once. The auction house lets players list items for others to buy, with a search for both shop entries and auctions. Player-to-player trading is included, and a wealth tax raises prices as a player's balance grows to slow inflation.
PvP is part of the economy: a player who kills another earns 30 plus 10% of the victim's balance, the victim loses part of that reward, and hunters receive a bonus on PvP kills. The mod runs on NeoForge for 1.21.11 only, is server-side only, and is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source. Version 3.2.0 is the latest file, published on 2026-07-24.
Key features
Jobs and balances
Jobs pay money for normal play, and each player's balance is tracked and shown in real time on the sidebar.
Categorized shop
Shop entries are grouped by weapons, tools, armor, food, blocks and other categories, with search by item name.
Auction house
Players list items for sale in an auction house, and auctions can be searched by item, such as a sword.
Wealth-based pricing
A wealth tax raises prices for richer players, which is meant to keep the economy from inflating over time.
PvP rewards
Killing a player pays 30 plus 10% of the victim's balance, while the victim loses part of the reward and hunters earn a bonus on kills.
