TFC:TFF Drying Racks
by TFF
TFC:TFF Drying Racks is a Forge addon for TerraFirmaCraft that gives the mod's drying racks a new set of recipes, so the rack is not left uncraftable by default.
What it does
TFC:TFF Drying Racks is a fork of Lumintorious's TFC Drying Racks, reworked for the stock TerraFirmaCraft release on 1.12.2. The default drying rack is disabled and cannot be crafted, so the mod on its own does little until a recipe is added. Recipes are supplied through CraftTweaker, which lets a server owner or pack author define which items drying racks accept and what they produce.
Drying racks are added for other wood and metal types present in the TerraFirmaCraft registry. Unnecessary assets were removed from the original project. Installation needs Forge and TerraFirmaCraft; the environment is client and server, so both the server and every player need the mod. The code is open source under the MIT License, and the issue tracker and source code are public.
Key features
Drying racks for TFC materials
Racks are added for the wood and metal types registered by TerraFirmaCraft, not only one material.
Recipes through CraftTweaker
New drying recipes are written as CraftTweaker scripts, so the set of dryable items can be changed per pack.
Default rack disabled
The original drying rack is turned off and cannot be crafted until a recipe is supplied.
Trimmed assets
Unneeded assets from the source project were removed, leaving only the content the addon uses.
Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.
Only full game releases are shown. This mod publishes no snapshot builds.
Use cases
Modpack recipe setup
A pack author adds CraftTweaker scripts that define which foods and items the racks process.
Use alongside TerraFirmaCraft
The addon is meant for regular TerraFirmaCraft 1.12.2 and pairs with its drying mechanics.
Who it’s for: Pack authors and server owners who run TerraFirmaCraft on Forge 1.12.2 and want drying racks that can be configured with CraftTweaker scripts.
