Dreams N' Nightmares, a Forge world generation mod for 1.20.1, adds dimensions themed on dreams and nightmares that players can reach and explore.
What it does
The mod adds several new realms to the game. One is a paradise-like dream world where players can wander at a calm pace, and another is a hellish nightmare world with hostile creatures to fight. A separate easter egg dimension is hidden among them for players who look for it. Armor and other equipment can be crafted from materials gathered in the dream and nightmare dimensions, which gives the progression a path through the new realms.
Because it is categorized under world generation with a mobs secondary category, the mod changes which places a world offers and what lives in them. It runs on the client and the server, so the server and every player need it installed. Files are published for Forge only, and the 2.0.0 build for 1.20.1 is the latest, released on 2025-07-16.
