DragN’s Bettas & Aquatics!

by DragN0007

DragN’s Bettas & Aquatics! lets players set up customizable aquariums for betta fish and other aquatic animals inside their world.

ForgeClient and serverAll rights reserved1.18.2 – 1.20.1

What it does

Betta fish spawn in their own biome, and each one is generated with a randomly chosen pattern, body type and color, giving over 3400 possible combinations. Upon bucketing a betta, the player receives a Betta Guide that helps with building the first tank. Other fish from the mod can be found in the wild and added to an aquarium as well.

Tanks can be placed next to each other and are decorated dynamically. Decorations are placed while rotating around the tank so they face different directions. The decoration list draws on the mod's own custom pieces and on a handful of vanilla materials, including sand, red sand, gravel, dirt, seagrass, kelp, and the fire, tube, and brain coral fans along with sea pickles. Algae grows in a tank after three days and can be removed with an Algae Scraper. The mod requires Geckolib and Terrablender from version 1.18.2 onward.

Files are published for Forge only, covering game versions 1.18.2, 1.19.2, 1.19.3, 1.19.4 and 1.20.1. The mod is client and server, so the server and every player need it. The code is not open source; it is released under All rights reserved.
