Crazy Chocobos!
by DragN0007
Crazy Chocobos adds the Chocobo, a rideable mount from the Final Fantasy game series, to Forge worlds on Minecraft 1.20.1.
What it does
Chocobo nests occasionally generate in the Overworld, mostly in hot biomes. Breaking a nest drops one to three Chocobo Eggs, and right-clicking with an egg in hand hatches it. Chocobos can be tamed like horses and accept the same foods, and they can be fitted with saddles and carry chests that can be sheared off again. The mod requires Geckolib, which must be installed alongside it.
Chocobos come in almost 5000 combinations of colors, patterns and breeds. There are three breeds, Destrier, Rounsey and Kennel, which differ in size, speed, jumping and health. A config option named Replace Horses can be turned on to swap every vanilla horse, donkey and mule for a Chocobo. Square Enix neither promotes nor is connected to this project, which publishes its source code while keeping the mod under All rights reserved, so it is not open source.
