Do an Over Roll
by Colbaska02
Do an Over Roll changes the elytra camera with smooth cinematic flight, adding roll and loop control to the glider's view for Fabric and NeoForge.
What it does
The mod adds an advanced elytra control layer built around realistic flight physics. Players gain full directional freedom and a camera angle independent of the flight path, which allows rolls, loops and axis turns. Built-in motion filters smooth the view transitions and apply roll-offset effects that mimic how an aircraft behaves.
Inertia soft camera smoothing keeps the picture steady during fast manoeuvres, and a broad set of tweaks covers custom mouse handling, flight activation and limits. Configuration runs through Mod Menu and Cloth Config API, which are optional but provide the settings screen. After installing both, the config button in the mods list opens the settings, where the tilt strength, the reaction time and several other sliders can be fine-tuned.
The client needs the mod, while a server can run without it. Players who join a server lacking the mod still play normally and only lose the visual feedback, which stays visible to the player alone. Both sides running the mod see the visual effects synchronised. Files are published for Fabric and NeoForge on 26.1 – 26.1.2.

How it compares
Do a Barrel Roll is a Fabric, Forge and NeoForge mod for 1.17.1 – 26.3 that is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only. It works on either side, and neither needs it. Do a Minecart Roll is a Fabric-only mod for 1.21.10 – 1.21.11 under the MIT License, not open source, and it runs on the client alone, so servers are unaffected.
