Distorted Rex

Distorted Rex adds a mutated Jurassic-style dinosaur to Minecraft 1.20.1 that hunts players across the world.
What it does
The creature spawns in the world and waits idly until it spots a player. Its attacks follow the player: it tracks a target by scent, moves in unseen from behind and can kill with a single bite or a grab. If a player is hit but survives, a bleeding effect slowly drains health. Walking more than 10 blocks away does not end the chase, because the creature roars and comes after the player again.
The mod is meant for survival worlds and for players who enjoy horror-themed creatures. It needs Geckolib, which must be installed alongside it. Distorted Rex is a Forge mod for 1.20.1 only, released under All rights reserved, and it is not open source. Because it runs on client and server, the server and every player need it. Many world generation mods can spawn the creature, and the author notes that it is a reskin of the Dweller mob.
