With DisplayName, a player can set a new display name through a command, and the change syncs to chat, the tab list and name tags in real time.
What it does
Players change how their name appears by running a command. The new nickname is pushed to the chat, the tab list and the name tags as soon as it is set, so other players see the change without reconnecting. A UI built with Jetpack Compose Material 3 lets a player pick a nickname through a menu, and an item can also be used to change it.
