Dio's Tiny Ore
by AlasDiablo
With Dio's Tiny Ore installed, small deposits of vanilla ores appear in specific biomes, adding ore variants that Dio's Extended Resources and Dio's Lib support.
What it does
Dio's Tiny Ore is a world generation mod that places small quantities of ore in selected biomes, aimed at exploration. Each ore appears within its own height range: tiny coal ore in deserts and savannas between heights -12 and 127, tiny copper ore in oceans between -12 and 60, tiny diamond ore in jungles between -64 and 24, and tiny emerald ore in mountains between -64 and 127. Tiny gold ore shows up in badlands between -48 and 127, tiny iron ore in birch forest mountains between -38 and 127, tiny lapis lazuli ore in taigas and dark forests between -38 and 38, and tiny redstone ore in taiga swamps between -38 and 42.
The ore variants drop vanilla items, and the mod adds a non-vanilla nugget that players collect from them. Biome placement uses biome tags, so other mods that implement the desert, savanna, ocean, jungle, mountain, badlands, birch forest, taiga, dark forest and swamp tags can be compatible with it. The mod is published for NeoForge only, for 1.21.1 and 1.21.8, with the 2.0.0 build for 1.21.8 as the latest file. The server and every player need the mod installed. It requires Dio's Extended Resources and Dio's Lib. The code is not open source, and the mod is released under All rights reserved.
Key features
Tiny ore variants
Small ore deposits of coal, copper, diamond, emerald, gold, iron, lapis lazuli and redstone generate in fixed biomes.
Biome-specific placement
Each ore has its own list of biomes and height range, so the same ore appears in different places on the map.
Vanilla ore drops
Mining the tiny ores yields vanilla items, with a non-vanilla nugget added as an extra drop.
Biome tag compatibility
Placement follows biome tags, so other mods that implement those tags can take part in the generation.
