DiolezAnchorOptimizer

by Diolezz

DiolezAnchorOptimizer is a client-side Fabric utility that changes how the game client sends packets for respawn anchors, so charging and detonating them feels more responsive.

FabricClient-side onlyMIT License1.21 – 1.21.11

What it does

Respawn anchor actions such as placing, charging and detonating are handled by the client, which the mod optimizes so that the packets for these actions go out with less delay. The author describes the aim as narrowing the gap between players on high-latency connections and players with low ping, who notice a clunky anchor feel less often.

The mod is strictly client-side, so a server does not need to install it and it does not change anything the server checks. It is built for Minecraft 1.21.x player-versus-player play on servers where latency is high. Files exist for 1.21 – 1.21.11 on Fabric only, and the latest build, 1.0.0, targets 1.21.11. The code is licensed under the MIT License and is not open source.

Fabric API is listed as optional but recommended for most Fabric environments. Fabric Loader itself must be installed for the mod to load.

Key features

  1. Faster anchor response

Placing, charging and detonating a respawn anchor reacts more quickly, which reduces the sense of missed clicks.

  2. Optimized packet sending

The client's handling of anchor-related packets is optimized, with mixins written to keep the frame-rate cost low.

  3. Client-only operation

Only the player's client runs the changes, so a server can stay vanilla in this respect.

  4. Fair play on high latency

The mod aims to give players on slow connections a response closer to that of players with low ping.

What the author says

Diolezz Anchor Optimizer is a strictly client-side Fabric mod designed to level the playing field for high-ping players in Minecraft 1.21.x PvP. If you play on servers where you have high latency (ms), you've likely noticed that placing, charging, and detonating Respawn Anchors feels clunky or unresponsive compared…
