Delightful Fares

by BaronHog

Delightful Fares adds a kettle block for brewing tea, filling containers and draining fluids, and extends the cooking content of the mods it is built around.

NeoForgeClient and serverAll rights reserved1.21.1

What it does

The kettle works like a cooking pot inspired by the suspicious stew recipes. It holds two ingredients, one serving container and one bucket of fluid up to 1000 mB, and keeps its contents when broken, dropping them as an item. The kettle can drain fluids straight into the world or into other fluid tanks, fill other tanks with its contents, and fill offhand containers with the matching fluid. Tooltips list the functions available for whatever the kettle currently holds.

The mod adds tea bags, made from one paper and one string into four tea bags, along with new tea types and brewing recipes that display in JEI. Kettle variants can be obtained through smithing, jars can store and display tea ingredients, and flowers can be planted and used for flower decoctions. Craft a kettle, grab water, harvest some herbs and brew a tea with the recipes provided.

Delightful Fares is built for NeoForge on 1.21.1 and depends on two other mods for its base content, with compatibility added mostly through recipes in datapacks. It is a client and server mod, so the server and every player need it. The code is not open source and is released under All rights reserved. The author has said the mod depends heavily on those two mods and that a backport to older versions is not planned.
