Dat Modding API
Dat Modding API is a library for Forge and NeoForge that other Dat Developer mods depend on for shared code.
What it does
The library bundles shared functionality that the Dat Developer mods draw on, so one copy can serve several mods by the same author. Its contents include data structures, math helpers and classes for chat and for running code after a delay. Either side can run it, and neither needs it. Builds cover 1.20.1 – 1.21.4 for Forge and NeoForge, and the code is released under the MIT License, so it is open source.
Key features
Shared data structures
Provides data structures that other mods can reuse instead of bundling their own copies.
Math utilities
Includes helper functions for common calculations used in gameplay code.
Chat and delayed execution
Adds classes for sending chat messages and scheduling code to run after a set delay.
Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.
Only full game releases are shown. This mod publishes no snapshot builds.
