cyankeys

by cyanpath

cyankeys lets players move items between containers through configurable keyboard and mouse hotkeys, with bindings for macros and client commands.

FabricNeoForgeQuiltJava AgentClient-side onlyMIT License1.21 – 26.2

What it does

Hotkeys cover item transfers from the player inventory into chests, hoppers, droppers, furnaces, shulker boxes and crafting stations, and back. Each binding can select an item by type, slot or hotbar slot, and its trigger can fire once, repeat while held, or toggle repeat.

Macros can be bound to keyboard keys or mouse buttons, and a macro can run a client command or send a chat message. On supported platforms, inventory actions run through the usual screen-handler click pipeline, so the mod never alters the client inventory itself.

The mod is published for Fabric, Quilt, NeoForge and Java Agent across 16 release versions, 1.21 – 26.2. It is client-side only, so servers run without it. It is released under the MIT License and is not open source.

Key features

  1. Configurable hotkeys

Hotkeys for moving items can be set up in detail, so each container action can have its own binding.

  2. Keyboard and mouse macros

Macros can be attached to keyboard keys or mouse buttons and chained to a series of inventory steps.

  3. Item selection

A binding can choose items by type, inventory slot or hotbar slot, which narrows what a transfer moves.

  4. Trigger behavior

Each binding can fire once, repeat while the key is held, or toggle repeat until it is pressed again.

Use cases

Who it’s for: Players who move items between storage often and want to automate those moves on their own client. Server owners do not need the mod, since it runs on the client alone.
