Customized Dungeon Loot changes the loot inside dungeon chests and other vanilla structures, and it can add new items of its own to those containers.

What it does

Loot spawns in many different structures, and each one matches its theme. The mod works by modifying vanilla loot. Any vanilla item can receive a custom display name, lore text, enchantments, attributes and data components, and the mod can introduce new items and blocks as well. Items it adds stay in the game when the mod is removed later, so custom items remain in existing worlds.

Editing is done through datapacks. Changing spawn values and item stats means modifying loot table JSON files under the mod's assets folder for 1.14 and higher, or the data folder for 1.14 and higher in the loot tables path, depending on the version. Editing only loot table files is required, and the mod needs Magma Core to run, which provides basic code features such as an update checker. Because of the editing requirement, the mod is aimed at advanced users.

The server runs the mod alone, so players join without installing it. Files are published for Forge and NeoForge across 29 release versions, 1.10.2 – 1.21.10, under All rights reserved, and the mod is not open source.
