Cursor+
by HavocHz
Cursor+ swaps the operating system pointer that Minecraft shows in menus and GUI screens for custom cursor images, and leaves the gameplay crosshair alone.
What it does
Cursor+ changes the pointer Minecraft uses while players move through menus, inventories and other GUI screens. Once the mod is in place, the default pointer is swapped out without any setup on the screen itself. Gameplay crosshair stays unchanged, so the mod only affects screens where a pointer is shown.
The mod is built around a small set of functions and leaves out extras, which keeps its footprint light. Cursor+ runs entirely on the client, so a server never needs it and players can use it on any server they join. A configuration file is required to choose the cursor settings, and the mod is published for 1.21.1 only under the MIT License, which is not open source.
Key features
Custom menu cursors
Replaces the default mouse cursor shown in menus and GUI screens with custom cursor images.
Cursor swap on install
The new cursor takes effect as soon as the mod is installed, without changing any option in the game.
Crosshair left unchanged
Only the operating system pointer is modified, so the gameplay crosshair keeps its normal appearance.
Lightweight design
Includes only the cursor replacement, with no unrelated features added to the client.

Use cases
Playing with a custom pointer
A player who wants a different pointer look in inventories, chests and other screens can use Cursor+ without touching the crosshair.
Modpacks with a visual theme
Pack makers who want a consistent interface style can add Cursor+ to match custom menu art.
Who it’s for: Players who want a different pointer in menus and GUI screens on Fabric for 1.21.1, without changing how the in-game crosshair looks.
How it compares
Multi Display Fix is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, runs client-side only on Fabric and covers 1.21.1 – 26.2, so it targets display handling rather than the cursor. It Follows! is also client-side only and open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, but it supports Fabric and Quilt for 1.20 – 1.21 and changes a different part of the game. Chat Tweaks is client-side only, open source under the MIT License, and covers 1.21.2 – 1.21.4 on Fabric, so its version range does not overlap with Cursor+.
