Create Recycling V2 is a NeoForge storage mod that generates Crushing Wheel recipes to break items back down into their base materials.

What it does

Throw unwanted items into Crushing Wheels and the mod works out their base materials, then returns those materials to the output. The recipe list is read as the server boots and turned into a virtual datapack, so no JSON files need to be edited by hand. Recipes cover nearly every item that has a crafting recipe, while things like wood planks, glass panes and waxed blocks are skipped so JEI is not cluttered with broken recipes.

Full blocks such as iron blocks and slime blocks, along with Create alloys, give back their full material. Regular items return a set base amount with an added percentage roll for the remainder, which keeps the yields balanced. The mod requires Create, runs on the server only, and is published for NeoForge on 1.21.1 as a single release, 1.0-RELEASE, dated 2026-05-01. The mod is licensed under All rights reserved, so it is not open source, though its source code and issue tracker are public.

I had ported their Fabric version just to update it to Create 6 but it was still terrible so that is now private. Let me know on Github by reporting issues if you want a less buggy Fabric version!
