CreateGear
CreateGear adds a set of Create-based tools for Forge in 1.19.2, styled after vanilla tools and crafted through Create's processes.
What it does
Five tools are added, each built with Create's machinery and crafting steps. They follow the layout of vanilla tools while using the Create mod's materials and processes, so crafting them extends what Create already offers. The tools are meant to take over mining, excavation, farming, wood cutting and combat, and each one is listed as an upgrade over its vanilla counterpart in durability and capability.
The design takes inspiration from the Tinkers Construct approach to tool building, with molds and liquid metal used in the tool-making chain. A hammer mold follows the same process as the other molds. Wood, stone and iron tools are crafted at a crafting bench as the vanilla ones are, and the metal tools rely on the molded parts. The mod cannot work without the Create dependency installed alongside it.
The mod is licensed under the MIT License and its source code and issue tracker are public. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. Only a Forge build for 1.19.2 is published, and the latest file is version 1.1, dated 2023-05-30.
