Create: Vintage Improvements, a Create addon, adds new kinetic machines along with rods, wires, sheets and springs for Forge and NeoForge.

What it does

The addon adds machines to Create. A Spring Coiling Machine makes springs, a Vibrating Table runs vibrating recipes, a Centrifuge needs four Basins to operate, a Curving Press applies curving recipes through interchangeable heads, and a Helve Hammer handles smithing-style work. Rods, wires, springs and sheets can be produced from materials that other supported mods supply, and the supported list covers a range of technology and adventure packs.

Polishing recipes in the Grinder carry speed limits, so some recipes only work at low rotation speed, and a config option can enable sandpaper polishing recipes with matching limits. The mod is published for 1.18.2, 1.19.2 and 1.20.1, and both client and server need it. Create is required, while Create Crafts & Additions and Just Enough Items (JEI) are optional. The code is open source under the MIT License.

    Players can add custom curving heads by tagging items, and some recipes can damage heads, with the damage adjustable in config.
